Mission

With its root in Wanchai, UMA G is comfortably located on St. Francis Street, where Portuguese heritage and many fabulous design houses can be found. “UMA” means ONE in Portuguese, “G” stands for gallery, ground and gathering. UMA G is a semi-commercial, private, yet community-concerned art space. We focus on promoting local arts and culture; meanwhile facilitating collaborative creation of artists, architects and designers, and exposing an urban niche for the upbringing and integrating of art/space/community into a cultural incubator for local artists and creative talents.
